Here I created a small booklet that visually represents a quote by a WWII solider that reads: “We appeared to take death lightly…in order to keep from going crazy.”
The quote is powerful and numbing. The cover photo represents a man who is literally “disconnected” from the pain he is surrounded by, but once the book is opened the emotion he feels is let out. I took the photos used in this booklet myself.
