After visiting Washington D.C to participate in the Women’s March on Washington, I’ve become more inspired than ever to make a difference. This was my opportunity to design for good, and to contribute to a cause I care deeply about. As part of their “10 Actions in 100 Days” campaign, The Women’s March organization released a postcard that people could download to send to their representatives, and this is where the idea came from. I wanted to add to the momentum with these designs, and to inspire those who may not normally engage in political activism to start small. By encouraging others to write to their legislators, the movement has the potential to expand.
